The cycle will last for 6 sim days and will come back 12 days afterwards. Your sim must be ages teen-adult to be able to get their cycle. You will get a buff that lets you know the official start date of your menstrual cycle. You can but if you don’t do it before the game does you won’t be able too. Whatever turn on you get will help build relationships faster if a sim meets your “turn on” requirements and if it’s a turn off it will be harder to build relationships with that sim.
The quickest way is just by talking to other sims. You can discover what your sim prefers by interacting with sims and watching tv/movies. You can make a living from it or do absolutely nothing with it. However your sim will also be able to build the skills in that category faster than the average sim. It makes your sim naturally good at a certain category, once you discover your talent anything in that category your sim will be 5X better at it regardless of skill level.
It varies per sim and it also depends on dedication on consistency. You have to put effort in trying to figure out what your sims talent it by making them try different types of hobbies. In real life you figure out what you are good at by actually trying things well it is the same for sims. My next focus in the future update will be to add more buffs, more apps to the phone, and more interactions! My main focus of the mod was the appearance changes and the drunk add-on. If you downloaded the social media mod just for the “phone interactions” then you can just download this mod instead because it’s not based on followers. Thankfully these modders are working hard to make sure they’re up and running again! Why would your Sim need cosmetic procedures when they already are crafted perfectly? We spend hours perfecting how a Sim looks in CAS so it’s crazy to think they would need a cosmetic procedure.
